To determine whether the hits derived from a genome-wide murine BMDM screen regulated human macrophage phenotypes, we established a framework that coupled genetic perturbation with phenotypic analysis at single-cell resolution in primary human monocyte-derived macrophages (MDM scCRISPR-seq).
