Leukaemia_Cambridge_Behjati_Wellcome_Core_EMseq

Understanding methylation across paediatric leukaemias. Paediatric leukaemias are known to be defined by genetic risk categories, that partly determine their clinical outcome. However, patients with apparently “good risk” genetic lesions often relapse, or have resistant disease. To understand why this occurs, we are going to undertake EM-seq of children who have done badly, and those who have done well, alongside whole genome sequencing. For a subset of children, we have also done single-cell RNA sequencing at multiple treatment timepoints, where we plan to link their methylation status, to their gene expression at a single-cell level.
