Single-cell profiling of peripheral blood from treatment-naïve GBM patients and healthy donors.
Glioblastoma (GBM) induces systemic immune reprogramming characterized by altered circulating myeloid and lymphoid populations. Single-cell profiling of peripheral blood from treatment-naïve GBM patients identified heterogeneous monocyte states, expansion of suppressive myeloid cells, reduced MHC class II expression and distinct GBM-associated immune signatures. These findings support peripheral blood immune profiling as a potential source of biomarkers in GBM.
