Identification of novel RNA isoforms in human osteosarcoma

Three osteosarcoma (OS) tumors were obtained from separate human subjects. RNA isolated from each tumor sample was used to perform both long-read PacBio sequencing and illumina short-read sequencing. Data analysis was performed using a custom workflow to identify novel RNA isoforms enriched in OS. Novel RNA isoforms and respective coding proteins are key targets for downstream analysis and eventual development of anti-cancer therapies.
