Evaluation of an ex vivo immunotherapy platform using EV-primed immune cells and patient-derived glioblastoma spheroids
This study presents an ex vivo co-culture system integrating glioblastoma stem-like cells (GSCs) and extracellular vesicle (EV)-primed peripheral immune cells to explore immunotherapeutic responses. EVs were derived from mock- or virus-infected GSCs to modulate immune activity. scRNA-seq was used to assess immune cell activation, functional states, and tumor–immune interactions. The platform enables high-resolution analysis of immune dynamics and EV-mediated immunomodulation in glioblastoma.
