Targeting type I regulatory T cells to enhance anti-parasitic T helper 1 and T follicular helper cell responses in human malaria

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was performed on CD4⁺ T cells isolated from PBMCs of malaria-naïve volunteers inoculated with Plasmodium falciparum. Volunteers received antimalarial treatment, with or without the JAK1/2 inhibitor ruxolitinib.
