IFNγ Drives Long-Term Bone Marrow Niche Dysfunction Following Doxorubicin-Based Chemotherapy
To understand the impact of chemotherapy treatment on the bone marrow microenvironment, we acquired paired bone marrow (BM) aspirate samples from patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) collected at diagnosis and 4w later (end of induction therapy) at the Princess Margaret Hospital. The BM stroma was obtained by expanding BM aspirates in culture, and profiled by RNA-sequencing.
