Exploring the evolution of atypical fibroxanthoma to pleomorphic dermal sarcoma: a genomic and pharmacological insight

The study includes an integrated genomic and pharmacological analysis of atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) and its progression to pleomorphic dermal sarcoma (PDS), two rare cutaneous mesenchymal tumors with overlapping clinical and histological features but distinct prognostic profiles. The findings will shed light on the molecular mechanisms underlying this progression and provide preliminary evidence for potential therapeutic vulnerabilities, particularly in the context of targeted and immune-based approaches.
