Large-scale single-cell whole genome and transcriptome sequencing of normal esophagus epithelium
This study utilizes SMART-PTA, a high-throughput workflow for joint single-cell whole-genome and whole-transcriptome sequencing, to map clonal evolution and phenotypic states in the human aging esophagus. By integrating single-cell phylogenies derived from whole-genome somatic variants with matched transcriptomic profiles, we reconstruct clonal dynamics at high resolution.
