Mid-frequency hearing loss is a characteristic clinical feature of OTOA-associated hearing loss

In this study, we performed NGS analysis of a large Japanese hearing loss cohort, and identified 7 patients with OTOA-associated hearing loss. As novel clinical features identified in this study, the audiometric configurations of OTOA-associated hearing loss patients was found to be mid-frequency.
