Whole genome and transcriptome sequences of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with Fontan-associated liver disease
Most liver cancers develop as a result of long-term liver disease caused by viruses, drugs or metabolic disorders. Fontan-associated liver disease (FALD) is a rare condition whose prevalence is increasing. We therefore conducted a multi-omics analysis targeting liver cancer arising from liver damage caused by rare diseases, with a particular focus on FALD.
