GoDARTS T2D-GENES Exome Sequencing Study
The GoDARTS T2D-GENES exome sequencing study includes 1924 samples, 965 T2D cases and 959 T2D controls, from European ancestry. This cohort is part of a larger exome sequencing effort from the T2D-GENES project and contains the exome sequencing vcf from the GoDARTS samples. The other data generated from the T2D-GENES project can be found in dbGAP. Samples underwent deep exome sequencing, with SNVs and INDEls called according to GATK best practices.

The GoDARTS cohort is an International biomedical and genetic resource for the study of type 2 diabetes and related conditions and is available to researchers worldwide. International researchers will collaborate through a researcher based in the UK. The Access Policy describes all the information and processes required to make a request to access this resource. All access will be made through members of the Access Group, following the procedures laid out in the Access Policy below. The genotype data (EGAD00010000282) in the current dataset were generated as part of the WTCCC2 study.
Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
