microRNA sequencing data (miRSeq) of 52 human placental samples
Human placental samples have been collected after the delivery or elective/medical abortion upon informed consent from the parents for the research specifically targeted to pregnancy complications, reproductive health and related traits. Placenta is an extra-embryonic organ that carries the genome of the fetus. Ethical permission and informed consent of the study does not cover open sharing of personalized clinical and genetic data of the offspring/fetus. When receiving controlled access to this data, the recipient is ultimately responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity of the data to which it is entrusted. Ensure that data is accessible only to those approved for access, and controls for changing that access are retained by the investigator who submitted the data access request. Please remember that collaborators at different institutions must file a separate data access request even if they are working on the same project.
Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
