Pre-diagnostic saliva microbiota of Finnish children with autoimmune diseases

Pre-diagnostic saliva microbiota samples of Finnish children (aged 11/12 years). This is a case-control study, where case refers to the children who developed Type 1 DM or IBD later in life and control refers to the children who were free from these diseases. The aim of the study was to find biomarkers in saliva microbiota that may help us predict DM or IBD before the onset of these diseases.

- Data should only be made available with ethical committee approval; assessed by FinHIT DAC. - Data will ONLY be made available with the understanding that it will be used solely with the purposes or the specific article agreed upon and for a specific time period; - After the agreed study period the data should be deleted entirely; - Data must be handled in accordance with the ethical principles of the Fin-HIT-study; - Not reveal any confidential information that you may come across working in the project; - Complete documentation on the data analysis, including database with created variables, shall be submitted to FinHIT DAC as soon as the article is submitted for publication; - if any additional analysis are done during the manuscript review the complementary documentation should be submitted as well; - Only external collaborators who have signed this contract can use the database. Received data cannot be transferred to any third party. - Variables must be used according to original research plan; - No document may be submitted without FinHIT DAC have read and approved the manuscript.
