Low-coverage whole-genome sequencing (lcWGS) data of Genome in a Bottle (GIAB) reference samples

Data access is controlled by the institutional Data Access Committee (DAC) at the Center for Human Genetics, Philipps-University Marburg. The DAC ensures that all data use complies with the informed consent provided by the study participants and adheres to applicable data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR). Researchers requesting access must: - Submit a detailed data access application specifying the research objectives. - Agree not to attempt re-identification of any participant. - Use the data exclusively for the approved project and not share it with third parties. - Acknowledge the source of the data in any publication or presentation. - Agree to destroy the data after completion of the project, unless further use is approved. The DAC will evaluate requests based on scientific merit, compatibility with participant consent, and data security provisions. Access will be granted for a defined time period, subject to renewal.
