BIOCLOCK Phenotype Information Dataset

This policy governs access to the BIOKLOK dataset, which includes DNA methylation profiles and associated fitness-related phenotypic data collected during a six-month endurance exercise intervention. Data access is restricted to researchers for non-commercial use in projects aligned with the study’s aim of improving biomarkers for healthy longevity, as well as for other related research purposes. Access to this dataset requires prior ethics approval from the appropriate institutional review board or equivalent authority. Any publication based on this dataset is strictly prohibited from including participants’ chronological ages, information that could allow the inference or calculation of participants' ages, or any details that could lead to their identification, such as ancestry. Additionally, contacting participants directly is strictly prohibited, in compliance with the requirements of the Ghent University Hospital Ethical Committee.
