Access to study data will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Principal Investigator (PI). Investigators seeking access must submit a Data Access Request Form, available from the PI, describing their institution, proposed project, and data security procedures. Requests will be reviewed by the PI for scientific merit and compliance with applicable regulations, including the U.S. Common Rule or the equivalent regulatory framework in the investigator’s jurisdiction. Only de-identified data will be made available. Patient-identifiable information will not be shared, and investigators must not attempt to re-identify participants using genomic or other study data. If a request is approved, a Data Transfer Agreement (DTA) between the participating institutions must be executed before data access is granted. Commercial entities may be required to enter into additional agreements as a condition of access.
Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
