The Heart Centre Biobank Registry Tissue Allocation Committee reviews all specimen or data requests for scientific merit and feasibility and approves meritorious projects based on guidelines developed by the committee. Requestors are required to have Research Ethics Board (REB) approval prior to release of banked specimens and a data. For external requests, a material and/or data transfer agreement (MTA/DTA) is also required.
