Nanopore Amplicon Sequencing of 34 uveal melanoma samples (33 patient tumors + 1 primary cell line) in 4 mutational hotspot regions for genotyping

Sequencing of one mutational hotspot region in each of the genes GNA11, GNAQ, SF3B1 and SRSF2. 33 patient tumor samples and a primary cell line were analyzed, all uveal melanoma. Amplicons were generated in a PCR step followed by AMPure XP clean up. Amplicons were pooled equally per sample and sequenced for genotyping.

Data Access Policy – Institutional Use and Access Committee

Access to the deposited data is controlled by the institutional Use & Access Committee (UAC). Access may be granted to researchers affiliated with recognized research institutions who have the appropriate ethical and regulatory approvals required for the proposed research. Requests for access are evaluated on an individual basis by the UAC. The assessment takes into consideration, among other factors, the scientific purpose and intended use of the data, the requested datasets, the applicant's institutional affiliation and relevant ethical approvals, and the proposed measures for data security, storage, and handling. Access will only be granted where the proposed use is consistent with the consent and ethical framework under which the data were generated and deposited. Researchers granted access must comply with all applicable institutional, ethical, legal, and data protection requirements and must use and store the data in accordance with the conditions specified by the UAC.

Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
