Cryptic mRNA Splicing in FLT3-ITD mutated Acute Myeloid Leukemia

NGS analyses of genetic material from Acute Myeloid Leukemia cases harboring FLT3 Internal Tandem Duplications to investigate the occurrence of cryptic mRNA splicing. DNA extracted from diagnostic bone marrow sample was used for library preparation and then NGS was performed using Sophia DDMTM Myeloid Solution Panel, Thermofisher ION S5 Platform.

Data Access Policy for the access to NGS data of Acute Leukemia cases involved in the study investigating Cryptic mRNA Splicing in FLT3 Internal Tandem Duplications

DATA ACCESS AGREEMENT This Data Access Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the Data Access Committee (DAC) of “Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK & IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna, Istituto di Ematologia Seràgnoli, Bologna, Italy” (EGAC50000001122, NGS data of Acute Leukemia cases_DAC)("Data Provider") and the User Institution requesting access to the Dataset ("Data User"). 1. Purpose of Use The Data User agrees to use the Dataset solely for the advancement of medical and scientific research, consistent with the informed consent provided by the data subjects. Use of the data for commercial purposes is PROHIBITED. The Data User has to submit to the Data Provider the specific purpose (e.g. project description) for which data are intended to be use. 2. Confidentiality and Re-identification The Data User agrees to preserve the confidentiality of the data at all times. The Data User shall make no attempt to identify, contact, or re-identify any individual data subject or their relatives from the Dataset. 3. Data Security and Storage The Data User agrees to store the data on secure, password-protected servers with access restricted only to authorized personnel listed in the access application. Data must not be distributed, copied, or transferred to any third party or outside the User Institution without explicit written permission from the Data Provider. 4. Ethical Compliance The researcher (Data User) agrees to comply with all applicable local and international laws regarding data protection and privacy. 5. Breach Notification In the event of any unauthorized data disclosure or cyber security incident involving the downloaded files, the Data User must immediately notify the DAC contact person listed on EGA/Data Provider. 6. Publications and Acknowledgments The Data User agrees to acknowledge the Data Provider and the specific study in any publication or presentation resulting from the use of the data, citing the EGA Study Accession Number. 7. Termination: Access is granted for a period of 12 months, renewal requests must be submitted directly to the DAC before expiration. 8. Intellectual Property Ownership of the Dataset remains with the Data Provider. No intellectual property rights regarding the raw data are transferred to the Data User. 9. Data Destruction The Data User agrees to destroy all copies of the data upon completion of the approved research project or upon expiry of the authorized access period, and to certify such destruction to the Data Provider upon request. By submitting a request for this dataset via EGA, the User Institution agrees to be bound by these terms.

Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
