  This study investigated the impact of insulin resistance on chromatin acetylation and inflammation. Blood samples were obtained from women consented to City of Hope Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved COH Protocol#/Ref#:18306/158149. Women provided demographic information and completed a survey assessing diet, housing and medical history. BMI was obtained from medical records. • High-Fidelity, Large-Scale Targeted Profiling of Microsatellites

  This study developed a novel method of targeted sequencing of microsatellites. We optimized every aspect of targeted hybridization capture geared towards minimizing artifacts that commonly occur in laboratory manipulation of microsatellite-containing DNA. This achieved a higher fidelity for microsatellite sequencing than standard targeted DNA sequencing. In the accompanying manuscript, we also introduce two computational tools for design of targeted microsatellite capture panels and for analyzing the resulting microsatellite sequencing data.

Here we employed single cell and spatial transcriptomics to investigate thoroughly adult human adrenals from 14 individuals with a focus on adrenocortical cell types and cell states. By including both male and female tissue donors of various ages, we extended the study to sexual dimorphic features of the adult gland.

• Genomics Analysis Reveals Molecular Patterns of Tumorigenesis in HPV-Associated and HPV-Independent Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

  The goal of this study was to identify molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis in HPV-associated and HPV-independent sinonasal carcinoma using high-throughput sequencing approaches. Whole genome sequencing was performed for HPV-associated samples and whole exome sequencing for HPV-independent samples. Ultimately, we identified distinct molecular patterns of tumorigenesis between HPV-associated and HPV-independent disease. Data from patients for which informed consent allowed public sharing are included here.
