  Uveal melanoma (UM) is the most common primary intraocular malignancy in adults. Tumor heterogeneity has been proposed as a key factor of drug resistance. However, it has been scarcely studied in UM.   Pulmonary pleomorphic carcinoma (PPC) is an aggressive and highly heterogeneous non-small-cell lung carcinoma whose underlying biology is still poorly understood.   Human DNA present in fecal samples can result in a small number of human reads in gut shotgun metagenomic sequencing data.
