Cardiometabolic effects of Anaerobutyricum soehngenii

This study investigated the effects of the probiotic strain Anaerobutyricum soehngenii on plasma metabolites and cardiometabolic parameters. Strain engraftment was determined through strain tracking of fecal metagenomics. Plasma metabolites levels were determined using untargeted metabolomics. Additionally the interaction with metformin dose was studied.
