Whole-Exome Sequencing in Mexican Patients with Testicular Germ Cell Tumors

In this study, we performed whole-exome sequencing in 40 clinically well-characterized Mexican patients with testicular germ cell tumors. Paired tumor and peripheral blood samples were analyzed to characterize the genomic landscape, including both single nucleotide variants (SNVs) and copy number variations (CNVs).

EGAD50000002474	This dataset contains raw whole-exome sequencing (WES) data from 79 samples derived from 40 Mexican patients diagnosed with testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT) treated at the National Cancer Institute of Mexico (INCan). The dataset includes 40 peripheral blood samples representing germline DNA and 38 tumor tissue samples. Sequencing libraries were prepared using the NimbleGen SeqCap EZ Exome V3 capture kit and sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform, generating 100 bp paired-end reads. Tumor samples were sequenced at an average coverage of ~100×, and germline samples at ~60×. Raw sequencing data are provided as paired-end FASTQ files (compressed and encrypted).
