  The data contain whole deep RNA sequencing of leukocytes from 17 Greenlanders. RNA was purified from peripheral blood with the PAXGene Blood miRNA Kit (Qiagen). The RNA sequencing library was prepared following the instructions of the TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit v2 (Illumina). For mRNA isolation and fragmentation 200 ng of total RNA was purified by oligo-dT beads.
