This dataset contains the singlecell RNAseq data used in the publication. Long-read whole-genome sequencing was performed using the Oxford Nanopore PromethION platform on colon tissue collected post‑mortem from PD patients and non-PD controls. These data contribute high-resolution insights into genomic variation that may affect PD biology.   Inner Asia is particularly interesting to understand human history and evolution, as two groups presenting contrasting cultural traits (notably their language, their social organisation and matrimonial system) cohabit. We sampled 503 individuals from these two groups, belonging to 17 populations from 11 distinct ethnic groups (AltaiKizhi, Kazakh, Khakas, Kyrgyz, Mongolian, Shore, Tajik, Telengit, Tubalar, Turkmen and Uzbek). The samples were then genotyped with 5 different DNA-arrays and, after quality-control, the 253,532 autosomal SNPs present in all the arrays were merged together in the present dataset.

  The heterogenicity of cord blood ILCs (ILC1, ILC2, ILC3) and NK cells in humans has so far not been assessed. In this study, we sorted from fresh cord blood the respective cell types from 3 donors and performed single-cell transcriptome analysis. To achieve high resoluation, each sorted population was labelled individually via multiplexing antibodies and subsequent Abseq staining before pooling. To determine single-cell transcriptomes the BD Rhapsody pipeline was performed. This is the first data set to characterize human ILCs and NK cells at such depth.

• Identification_of_drug_resistance_genes_in_cancer_cell_lines_by_insertional_mutagenesis

  Our aim is to identify genes involved in resistance to anti-cancer therapies. In order to do this we have taken advantage of a lentiviral vector (LV)-based insertional mutagen to mutagenize cancer cell lines. LV-transduced cell lines were then treated with anti-cancer therapies and the emergence of resistant clones scored. DNA from pools of resistant clones was collected, subjected to custom capture by baits designed against the LV sequence, and then sequenced to identify the LV-genomic junction. We hope that the identification of recurrently targeted genes in resistant cell population will allow us to identify genes that mediate drug resistance.

  Primary plasma cell leukemia (pPCL) is a rare malignancy related to multiple myeloma. Here we have assembled 20 patient samples and performed whole exome sequencing to determine the differences between multiple myeloma and pPCL. CD138+ cells were purified from bone marrow aspirates from patients with pPCL. Control cells were obtained from CD34+ stem cell harvests or CD3+ T cells. DNA was extracted and processed using the HyperPlus library prep kit (KAPA Biosystems) and sequenced using 75 bp paired end reads on an Illumina NextSeq500.

  Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor neuron degeneration. Despite known genetic contributions to both familial and sporadic ALS cases, much of ALS heritability remains unexplained, suggesting the involvement of other genetic and epigenetic factors. To address this gap, we used a comprehensive multi-omics approach, in a pair of Italian monozygotic twins discordant for ALS, integrating DNA methylation, transcriptomics, and whole exome sequencing (WES). Here we share transcriptomic data derived from bulk RNA-seq on RNA extracted from PBMCs of the twin pair. This analysis revealed distinct transcriptomic profiles underlying the discordant disease phenotypes.
