The dataset includes high-quality sequencing data from a targeted NGS assay (the TruSight Cancer Panel) together with Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification (MLPA) results for 96 independent samples. 66 samples contain at least one validated exon CNV and 30 samples have validated negative results for exon CNVs in 26 genes. Single CD34+ cells were purified from fresh bone marrow and cDNA libraries were prepared using the SMARTer Ultra Low RNA Kit (Clontech; pre-2015) or SMART-Seq v4 Ultra Low RNA Kit (Clontech; post-2015). Libraries were sequenced on a HiSeq 2500 Instrument (Illumina, San Diego, CA) to a read depth of ~3 M paired-end, 25 bp reads per single cell. Paired-end reads were mapped to the hg38 human transcriptome (Gencode v24) using STAR v2.4.2a.
