We performed a genome-wide association study (GWAS) for plasma FXI levels, using novel data imputed to the 1000 Genomes reference panel. Individual GWAS analyses, including a total of 16,169 European individuals from the ARIC, GHS, MARTHA and PROCARDIS studies, were meta-analyzed, and results are presented here.

We performed targeted sequencing of all known human protein kinase genes (kinome) (~3.3 Mb) using the SOLiD v4 platform. Seventeen breast cancer samples were sequenced in duplicate (n=14) or triplicate (n=3) to assess concordance of all calls and single nucleotide variant (SNV) calls.

  We performed RNA-seq on Flag-tag AML1-ETO Kasumi-1 cells transduced with Control or miR-130a KD lentiviruses to identify differentially expressed genes. Kasumi-1 cells were transduced in 3 independent replicates for control and miR-130a KD samples with lentiviruses containing GFP reporter gene. GFP+ cells were sorted 3 days post-transduction and RNA was harvested for library preparation and sequencing.
