Multifocal hepatocellular carcinoma (mfHCC) arises via intrahepatic metastasis (IM) or multicentric occurrence (MO), We performed whole-exome and RNA-sequencing of 76 tumor biopsies from 22 HCC patients to determine their evolutionary origins.
