Single cell derived progenitor colonies have been grown and DNA extracted. 5-10 colonies from a number of individuals exposed to chemotherapeutic regimens for lymphoma will undergo whole genome sequencing to address the question of the extent of mutational impact of these different regimens.

  The fetal inflammatory response (FIR) increases the risk of perinatal brain injury, particularly in extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGANs, < 28 weeks of gestation). Most FIR cases are subclinical, i.e., usually FIR does not trigger observable symptoms in the mother beyond those associated with premature birth. The study of transcriptomic changes asssociated with FIR in amniotic fluid could help finding new clinical actionable FIR biomarkers.

  This study investigates the transcriptomic heterogeneity and evolutionary progression of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) and their associated pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC). • Sensitive circulating tumor DNA based residual disease detection in epithelial ovarian cancer

  In this study we implemented a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) based blood test for more accurate post-operative surveillance of this disease. We analyzed 264 plasma samples collected between June 2016 and September 2021 from 63 epithelial ovarian cancer patients using tumor-guided plasma cell-free DNA analysis to detect residual disease after treatment. Assay specificity was verified using cross-patient analysis of 1195 control samples.

  The objective of this study was to better understand the molecular changes occurring in tumors during development of ICB (immune checkpoint blockade) resistance. Here, we performed Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on biopsies from a cohort of melanoma patients after progression on anti-CTLA4 or anti-PD1 monotherapy and matched normal samples. Tumor and adjacent normal samples were collected from 11 patients treated in affiliated hospitals of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), including Parkland Hospital. Seven of the eleven patients consented to depositing their genomic data to public repository.
