  Gastric Cancer (GC) is a highly heterogeneous disease. To identify potential clinically actionable therapeutic targets that may inform individualized treatment strategies, we performed whole-exome sequencing on 78 GCs of differing histologies and anatomic locations, as well as whole-genome sequencing on two GC cases, each with 3 primary tumours and 2 matching lymph node metastases.   Human PMECs from 10 donor lungs were isolated, cultured (passages 3 to 4), synchronized by serum starvation (0.3% FCS), and stimulated with 10 ng/mL BMP-9 for 4 h. • Single cell long read whole genome sequencing reveals somatic transposon activity in human brain

  The advent of single cell DNA sequencing revealed astonishing dynamics of genomic variability, but failed at characterizing smaller to mid size variants that on the germline level have a profound impact. In this work we discover novel dynamics in three brains utilizing single cell long-read sequencing. This provides key insights into the dynamic of the genomes of individual cells and further highlights brain specific activity of transposable elements.
