Comparative transcriptomics reveal molecular convergence and divergence in parkinsonian disorders
Elucidate the biological convergence and divergence across the parkinsonian spectrum. The study contains data processed at two different sites as well as Alzheimer's disease as an non-parkinsonian control. Specifically, Parkinson's disease (PD, N=448), dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB, N=80), multiple system atrophy (MSA, N=35), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP, n=42), corticobasal degeneration (CBD, n=17), Alzheimer's disease (AD, N=72) and neurologically healthy controls (N=283). RNA-seq was carried out using ribosomal depletion.
