A total of 183 biopsies from 50 patients were collected for this purpose, and bulk mRNA sequencing was performed. High-quality RNA was isolated and sequenced using poly(A)-enriched or rRNA-depleted protocols, yielding 100 bp paired-end reads with high coverage.
