  This research study focuses on the genomic and psychological environmental effects on blood pressure among mothers and their children. The study includes 250 mothers who self-identify as AA/black, and 250 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old at the time of enrollment. The study is longitudinal and data collection interviews are scheduled every six months for two years after enrollment, for a total of four participant interviews.   The Anorexia Nervosa Genetics Initiative (ANGI) is an international collaboration that recruited individuals with a lifetime history of anorexia nervosa from the United States (US), Australia/New Zealand (ANZ), Sweden (SE), and Denmark (DK). Matched controls, with no history of eating disorders, were also recruited from the US, SE, and DK. Recruitment avenues included national registers (SE, DK), treatment centers (US, ANZ, SE, DK), and social and traditional media (US, ANZ, SE). Participants provided blood samples and clinical information. Diagnoses were based on DSM-IV or ICD-10 criteria (amenorrhea was not required).
